Definition
- Agreements for the licensing of patent rights in UCSF inventions to other parties, usually commercial entities, for the development, manufacture, and sale of a product or service using the invention.
- Income derived from license issue fees, license maintenance fees, milestone payments, and royalties.
- Disposition of income is subject to the specific patent policy in effect at the date of inventor hiring and to the implementing policies of UCOP and OTM.
