Definition
- A written agreement where UCSF enters into an affiliation with an external organization for a defined time period for a specific purpose or purposes. Regental approval may be required.
- Often permit the use of the University's name, facilities, personnel, or other resources in return for specified benefits received by the University.
- Often serves as an "umbrella" for other types of agreements included in this document. In such cases, the review and approval processes for those other types of agreements may be altered from those stated in this document.
