Federally Sponsored:

• Facilities & Administrative (F&A) rate varies by type of project (e.g. research, instruction, etc.) and by site (e.g. on-campus or off-campus)

Non-Federally sponsored:

• Federal F&A rates apply, but vary by type of project and campus site

If a sponsor has a published F&A rate policy, exceptions from Federal F&A rates may be approved by campus administration.

Waivers for industry research and clinical trial contracts are not an option.
