Affiliation Agreement between UCSF and the Northern California Institute for Research and Education (NCIRE)

NCIRE Rate of 26% of Modified Total Direct Cost (MTDC)

Policy Reference:

• Master Agreement September 30, 2019, as amended 

UCSF Office for policy interpretation:

• Dean’s Office for each school
• Director of Administration, Office of the Senior Vice Chancellor, Administration and Finance (SR SVC Finance and Administration) 

• NCIRE sends a department-approved JPA to the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, School of Medicine for review and approval. Following this approval, the JPA is sent to the Director of Administration (SR SVC Finance and Administration Office).
• For Institutional Signature: Following above approvals, JPAs are sent from SOM Academic Affairs to the Office of Sponsored Research (GBC) for final execution.
